Her role focuses on coordination, organization, and execution - helping keep processes running smoothly and content aligned across platforms.
Before moving into legal recruiting, Charlize worked across several industries, developing strong communication skills and a people-first approach. That background allows her to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and support the team with consistency and care.
At Onward, Charlize works behind the scenes on marketing support, content coordination, and operational tasks related to the recruiting process. She plays a key role in keeping workflows organized and ensuring day-to-day initiatives move forward efficiently.

How I tend to move through the world:
I’m drawn to balance - between movement and creativity, structure and flexibility, momentum and stillness. I like staying active and engaged, but I also value slowing down enough to be present and enjoy what I’m doing.
Where I spend my time outside of work:
I’m very active and enjoy anything that gets me moving. Hiking is a favorite, especially when it means being outdoors and away from screens for a while. I also spend time weight training and roller skating, which has become a fun, slightly nostalgic way to stay active. When time allows, I enjoy camping and occasional fishing - anything that gets me outside and a little more unplugged.
Creative practices I return to:
Art has always been part of my life in one form or another. I enjoy creating art pieces and experimenting visually without putting pressure on the outcome. Photography fits naturally into that rhythm - capturing details, textures, and everyday moments that feel worth slowing down for.
A quieter constant:
Music has always been in the background of my life. I enjoy playing the keyboard and piano, mostly for myself, as a way to unwind and reconnect with something familiar.
Things I enjoy making:
Cooking and baking are creative outlets for me as well. I like experimenting in the kitchen, trying new recipes, and sharing meals - especially when it’s something homemade and enjoyed with the people I care about.
The people (and pets) I share life with:
I live with my husband and our two cats, Abby and Liam, who bring an equal mix of comfort, chaos, and daily entertainment. Home is where I recharge, whether that’s cooking together, relaxing after a long day, or enjoying quiet time.
What tends to stay true:
I value curiosity, consistency, and making space for the things that keep life feeling balanced. I’m happiest when I’m learning, creating, moving, and finding enjoyment in everyday moments rather than rushing past them.
